In the video “RSA Animate – Changing Education Paradigms,” by RSA, the main points were about kids who don’t like school or don’t want to finish schools. It says that just because kids don’t go to school, businesses don’t want them for a job. The movie talks about ADHD and how it’s a plague. This relates to me because I have ADHD.  It makes me wonder if I really need medication because the video tells about kids getting put on medication more than people got their tonsils taken out.  I also think that people underestimate the capability of kids with ADHD. This relates to school because the video shows that some kids should get a chance to have a good job without school.  There are plenty of kids I personally know who dropped out of school.  Not because they are stupid of incapable, but school just wasn't for them.  Finally, I think businesses should take more kids than those who finish school for jobs.

In the video “What If” by Carl Fisch, there was a lot questioning about the average students capabilities and knowledge. Some of these things are “Multiplying three digit numbers by three digit numbers without a calculator.” Also, depending on ink, and other things. I think if we had listened, there would not be very many convenient things today. All the things we have today are very helpful and are not used to cheat the system but to make life easier. Such as a ballpoint pen. We don’t need to make our own ink because we already have it made in our pens. Also the use of calculators. People don’t need to know how to multiply three digit numbers by three digit numbers because they can get the answer faster by putting it in a calculator. Overall, I do not think it is right to questions capabilities and knowledge.

In the article “Our Googley Advice to Students: Major in Learning” by Jonathan Rosenberg, it showed that kids never stop learnin and that the traditional school learning is not the most important thing. Which means just because I don't like school it doesn't mean I can't get a good job. It was very important to education because it shows that school needs to rethink some of the information students are taught. Some of these things are analytical reasoning, communication skills, willingness to experiment, being a team player, having passion and being a leader. It is important to me because it lets me know that I need to have more skills than what school is showing me. Overall, the article was very important to school, myself and it showed kids never stop learning.
