In the article “South Korea:  Local Twitter and Facebook Alike Facing an Uphill Battle” by Lee Yoo Eun, it is amazing how a different culture can have totally different social networkings, and most people don’t know it. “Naver” is being used more in Korea than Google, and “Cyworld” is used more than Facebook. However, some Koreans do not count “Naver” and “Cyworld” as real social networking sites. Facebook and Twitter are now on their way up, gaining more and more people. This matters to me because I have been a member of Facebook for a while and I want to have an idea of how much longer it is going to be used. Education may change because there might be more networking sites to get distracted on. Overall, it is amazing how different a culture’s social networking sites can be created.
