In the video “How cognitive surplus will change the world” by TED, he states “Cognitive surplus” is the ability for the worlds population to be able to come together and work on a global issue. He also tells us it is made up of two things, worlds free time and talents. He says that the world had over a trillion hours a year to help a cause in the twenties. The second was helping people consume. Today people aren't consuming as much before because of technology. This relates to me because I think I can try to help a cause, if not a world one, a smaller one in my community. This relates to education because there is probably a lot of free time from school that kids can use to help the world. Overall, people have a lot of free time they can use to help the world.
